College Park Staff

These are the friendly folks who you see when you come to the airport to fly

Lee Schiek is the airport manager. A long time Park Police officer, he was coaxed into leading the College Park airport when the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission took over the airport, and he hasn't been able to get away from it since!
Sean is the manager of the operations staff at the airport. Prior to his arrival in the DC area, he was a honcho at Sea Air, in Pine Island, NC. Now he is working on his degree at the University of Maryland, and will have enough money to buy and sell the rest of us when he is done.
Rob is the accountant and HVAC technician here at the airport. If anything regarding the books or the building go wrong, he's the one to call.
Langston stumbled across the airport one day when his big government job got to him. He still works here on weekends, years later.
Paul is the primary airframe and powerplant mechanic, for Keystone Helicopters, working on the Prince George's County Police helicopters at the other end of the field. He is a frequent presence at our end of the field at the beginning and end of the day.
Dick is our resident groundskeeper. If you speak German, you will be his new best friend! Dick is often found toiling away on the growing grass all around the airport, and replacing taxiway light bulbs when we burn them out.
Joe is a pilot and flight instructor who flies into the airport frequently, and liked the place so much, that he decided to help out there. He's generally at the desk on weekday mornings. He's also the webmaster for this webpage.
Justin is a student at the University of Maryland who is currently pursuing his instrument rating. A future airline pilot, he is presently seen at the airport desk on various evenings.
Wren is a recent Maryland transplant, coming from the wilds of South Carolina, where she worked at the Rock Hill, SC airport, outside of Charlotte. She missed planes and the folks who fly them so much that she decided to help out here at the desk on Saturdays.
