Helicopter information

College Park welcomes helicopters, but we do ask a few small favors.

• Prior permission is requested, via radio or telephone.
• Please observe noise abatement rules.
• There is no jet fuel for sale here, but Tipton (KFME) has reasonably priced jet fuel a mere 10 miles to the northeast.
• If you are parking for an extended period of time (that is, long enough for the turbines to cool down!),
  please use the grassy area next to the transient tiedowns, to the left (south) of the fuel farm,
  near the museum.
